I think the more appropriate mailing list for this question would be the webkit-dev mailing list (<http://lists.webkit.org/mailman/listinfo/webkit-dev>). This webkitsdk-dev mailing list is primarily focussed on using the WebKit API, while webkit-dev is focussed on the development of WebKit itself. I would also encourage you to file a bug report at <http://webkit.org/new-bug> about the issues you mention.

My question is what's the minimal markup I would need to add to these examples to get the QuickTime handler to load the files. As I said its already working in all of these other browsers with no extra markup. In fact for the example with explicit dimensions included, Safari is the only browser that does not handle this content.
