Since it’s rarely done, it’s likely there are previously-unknown WebKit bugs that occur in this case. The way the WebHTMLView has to manage mouse moved events for all the views inside it makes it unsurprising there’d be a bug like this if you use a WebView for a plug-in.


So my guess is that this is a WebKit bug and it would be helpful if you filed a bug report. Especially if you could provide a simple test application.
