generation of pdf output

I am trying to figure out how to generate a .pdf file within WO. I have looked through list archives but have found nothing that uses contemporary .jar builds available from Apache. I have the big picture and I have a specific xml file that I have created. I need to know: (a) which .jar files to use. (b) where/how to locate these files so the WebObjects can find them. (c) what the import statements in the .java file will look like. (d) exact syntax associated with the Logger.

if an example of how to do this already exists I will be happy to study it.
