The feedback from customers has been "make WebObjects more standard and more interoperable with industry standards".

You'd do well to spend a bit of time talking to the growing number of *former* customers now using other technologies. Many of us didn't give a fig about "standards" but wanted to use a highly productive web development that also facilitated development of standard applications. This is necessary to tackle a number of vertical markets - a place where VB on Windows presently rules the roost. Despite our protestations, you went ahead anyhow.

Your remaining customers continue to ask for this feature (its pretty much a FAQ) and all Apple has said is what you just said. Somebody is not (and has not been for some time) listening.
