unable to open calculator Web services project

Anyone had luck with opening calculator or other sample Web Services applications available via http://developer.apple.com/documentation/WebObjects/Web_Services/index.html.   I downloaded the "Projects" file from this site and untar the archive.  When I try to open the Calculator application, it complains it cannot find PB.project file.
