Re: Project Builder - Coloring Syntax On A Windows OS

I tried that Nathan but it doesn't work.
I have quite a few comment in my java files and I find that when I uncomment them by removing the escape characters(eg. // or the last escape character of this type /**/) and then replace them again, the said block will get back it's coloring syntax but it's doing-my-head-in having to do this all the time for lengthy .java files.

So I suppose if there's no universal solution to this problem I'm going to have to live with it... yuk.

I'm not using windows, but when this happens on my Mac (to a much lesser extent), I do a select-all (command-a, control-a for wind) and then click somewhere in the text to deselect the text. If it's just a small block of characters, I'll just highlight with the mouse and then click to deselect. This somehow corrects the colors.

Dunno if it helps on windows, but ...

Nathan

I often find that when I go to a .java file to edit it or if I paste a piece of code in or even remove a bit of code, everything or part of the .java file will loose the colouring syntax ...
