Permissions problem with the user that wotaskd is running as? Try
touch /var/log/logWebObjects
and then try hitting the app a few times. Then check /var/log/WebObjects.log and see if there is anything informative in there.

OK, so I started wotaskd by hand and then ran the app, but I still get the
"App not found..." message.

wotaskd *does* need to be running. That is your problem. wotaskd is
what looks at the /-1234/ in the url and sends the request to the
right
port. No wotaskd, no apps found. :-)

OK, so what do I need to do to get it to run when I choose "Run" or "Build and Run", whatever? Sorry, I know you're running Eclipse, but this machine is still on Xcode.
