You can certainly develop on XP, and wotaskd (etc) will run and deploy
applications, but XP is *not* a server operating system.
So what Im wondering how difficult is it to deploy under Xp ? Is there a
walk through somewhere ( or one someone's willing to send a copy of )

It's not difficult, just liable to be dodgy ... especially if you rely on IIS.
Would it be best to install Apache on the box or IIS ? Im assuming
Apache :) Will WebObjects work with Apache on Windows ?
It *should*, but you might be limited to using the CGI interface, unless you
can compile the mod_webobjects.so (in
/Developer/Examples/WebObjects/Source/Adaptors/Apache), however support for
Apache is only official for Solaris & MacOSX.
Is it then just a matter of installing Java and WebObjects ?
Are there any "gottcha's" that we should be aware of ?

Has any one tested using it under the new Service patch ?
Nope.
Should we forget about Xp and grab a copy of Windows 2000 Server ?
