Hello All,
My Powerbook does not have serial port so I have connected RJ45 cable from Ethernet port on my Powerbook and other end of Ethernet cable I have attached a RJ45 to RS-232 connector.
I connect RS232 end to my Cisco router, but can not access the terminal using this configuration similar to how I can in Windows with Hyperterminal.
Does anyone know how to do this with Mac OSX?
Thanks.
Jason
You'll probably want to use something like http://www.ramelectronics.net/html/usb_serial.htm
I have not tried it though.
