You got it -- that was it. The X11 shipping with Leopard has two
problems which prevent option-click from working properly to paste in
xterm:
1. Buttons 2 and 3 are swapped, so you need to Command-click instead
of Option-click
2. Command-click shows up as Command-middle click and not simply
middle click.
Both of these problems have been fixed in the binary I will post in a
few minutes.
