After I restart the X11 server, the font I have installed previously disappeared. I am confused! How can I add a font path to Apple's X11 permanently?

ONe possibility is to put your command

 xset fp+ /usr/X11/lib/X11/fonts/wqy-bitmap

into your ~/.xinitrc file.
