I have installed X11 on my mac book pro (intel, mac OS X 10.4.9) so that
I can use softwares I enjoy on linux (such as OpenOffice and Gimp). It
used to work just great. But when I tried today I got a weird behavior
of X11:
-When launching OpenOffice, or Gimp, X11 crashes at startup.
-When Launhing X11 alone, it does not open any console, but is indicated
as active in my dock. Whenever I touch the computer (mouse or keyboard),
X11 crashes (no longer active in the dock).
How do you start X11?
What do you have in your ~/.xinitrc file?
