All,
I want to use an X11-based application and need the X11 server to be
running. However, I can't find the X11.app icon in Applications or
Applications/Utilities.
I've downloaded both:
- X11User.dmg - which tells me a newer version of X11 is already installed,
and
- X11Update2006.dmg - which tells me an identical application is already
installed.
Not managing to get anywhere with this - searched the digest for related
info, but didn't find anything - hoping someone can give me a hint. If I
need to reinstall X11.app, can you tell me how to remove enough of the files
such that OS X doesn't stop the reinstallation? (I'd use AppZapper, but
can't as I don't have the X11.app icon...)
