Perhaps.  But I would *think* (actually I *do* think, based on reading the
quartz-wm man page) that what it does is use the quartz-wm copy/paste routines
and would, therefore, work the same with vtwm (say) as it does with quartz-wm.
 And I can say definitively that if I do not use 'quartz-wm --only-proxy',
then cut/paste between X11/Aqua does not work (at least not reliably... it's
been a long time since I figured that one out and I never looked back).
