I don't think this is the cause: The reason is that the Mac OS X
clipboard is immediately available as the PRIMARY selection once
it has changed, so that there is no need to have Cmd-V. But one
could also imagine that changing the Mac OS X clipboard would not
change the PRIMARY selection, in which case Cmd-V would be necessary.
Now, I prefer the way it is.
