My $0.02 is that whatever was last selected should always be what
is pasted whether it was selected in X11 or Aqua. I would really
like to be able to simply select with the left button in X11, and
have that available in Aqua without having to do cmd-c (for that
matter I would like Aqua to behave like traditional X11 without
having to do the cmd-c/cmd-v or edit->copy/edit-paste nonsense
(it's bad enough having only one button on my Powerbook most of
the time and using two hands to emulate the middle and right
mouse buttons -- I would really love a ThinkPad keyboard and
eraser mouse).
