Re: x11 applications menu items

Hi,

I run osx 10.3.9 on a g4 laptop. I am having problems with X11'a
applications menu. You can customize it to run various apps. The
problem is in editing this menu through the dialog box you get via the
"customize" entry. Odd things happen - entries get duplicated, copied
over each other, and so on.

I assume there is a text config file that contains this info. Where
is it? I'd much rather edit it by hand and sort things out.

I don't remember where it is on 10.3, but on 10.4 it is in ~/Library/Preferences/com.apple.x11.plist

On 10.4, this is in a binary format. So you either have to edit it with the Property List Editor.app or you convert it to xml text using plutil first.
