Where did I say I couldn't? I am doing it every day, multiple times a
day. What I tried to convey in my message is that this is a major
reason for having X11 in the first place, and if I could no longer do
it from a Mac, the Mac would go out the door. If. Hypothetical.
Argh, my communication skills must be going down the tubes.

To make it even more clear, X11 is not the reason I own a Mac: That
would be silly. I really enjoy many of the things I can do with the
native applications, but I still cannot do without X11, so losing it
would have been the end of it. Not that this seems a likely scenario,
with all the good work that you and others are pouring into it.
