I have been having same type of problems, but - so far - never thought of
having to mention them on this list (Leopard on Macbook Pro PPC). I have one
question, though - is the default "send to Apple" report useful, when X11
crashes? I have been sending those reports with the "built-in" mechanism of
MacOSX, but I am not sure if they are reaching the right audience, compared
to the experts from http://trac.macosforge.org/projects/xquartz/wiki (i.e.
are the recipients of those reports the same who are working on this
project?!?)

Yes.  Those reports are useful to the Apple X11 maintainers.
