Re: ssh-agent setup

I have been using SSHkeychain for more than a year on my Mac. It works quite well, although installing it seems to set your Mac keychain to automatically close itself after some time so you have to type your Mac keychain password fairly often.

What's the recommend method to use ssh-agent? I'm running, eh, rooted
(opposite of root-less?) and I have X11 startup when I log in which

manager.

Googling I see two recommendations:

    http://www.sshkeychain.org/index.php
    http://www.phil.uu.nl/~xges/ssh/

Of course, I'd like to enter my key(s) at login and then have all
child xterms have the right environment.

I tried adding:

    eval ssh-agent
    ssh-add </dev/null &
    exec /sw/bin/icewm

and also tried:

    ssh-agent /sw/bin/icewm

to my .xinitrc. But, I don't seem to have an ssh-askpass program
available.
