At least in my case, after bug reports which were considered to be non-bugs were closed, I always got a mail from dts stating something like "Engineering has determined the current behaviour is correct", usually along with a note from engineering why they consider it correct.


If you get nothing, it usually seems to mean the fix is not yet in publicly shipping software. I got 8 mails about closed bug reports asking me to verify whether issues I reported were indeed fixed the day Tiger shipped.
