That's overspecified.
open -a Preview %s
would have worked just fine. And then you don't have hardwired paths
locked in.
But yes, I often do things in Carbonized Emacs that take far longer in the
Finder.

open -a emacs .
opens the current directory in emacs dired mode. Nice. :)
