First of all, thanks to Ben for doing such a great job in making X useable again. Because Gimp is one of the applications I like most (and using most) I did take a look at the Gimp sources and hoping to give some small hints to make Gimp running again. I've found out, that there's a newer version of libX11 (libX11-1.1.3.tar.bz2) on ftp://ftp.x.org/pub/individual The ChangeLog mentions a fix in XGetMotionEvents() about the order of arguments. Maybe this new declaration is somehow related to Gimp crashing on draging the mouse. The new declaration of XGetMotionEvents() is XTimeCoord *XGetMotionEvents( register Display *dpy, Window w, Time start, Time stop, int *nEvents) /* RETURN */ { I've tried to compile the source from ftp.x.org but did get some errors when starting Gimp, so I think I'm missing some patches from Apple I don't have. So, is there maybe somebody else (Ben ?) who can try if this will fix this issue? Simone Karin PS: Sorry for my broken english....
