The variant with /usr/bin/true proposed by Jack is not good; it
transforms /Applications/Utilities/X11.app into a no-op.
I discovered that. :( Some hassles getting X11 back.
When I try the other variant I will make sure to copy the X11.app file
first. Darn fool I am, executing a Unix command when I have no idea what
it does....
Actually, copying X11.app first will not help. All the "defaults
write..." command is doing is to change a preferences file used by
X11.app. If you got it wrong, you can simply delete that file,
~/Library/Preferences/org.x.X11_launcher.plist
It will be recreated by X11.app on its next run.
