And I must apologize for passing that command line along without testing (I knew the other variation worked, but should never assume....).

That said, there is still the issue that Leslie first brought up, which is that Open Office (and possibly pymol) does not want to start properly under the new X11.  That would be the next thing to look at.

I discovered that. :( Some hassles getting X11 back.

When I try the other variant I will make sure to copy the X11.app file first. Darn fool I am, executing a Unix command when I have no idea what it does....
