And, just to be clear here -- the Applications menu *should* work. It's a bug. Hopefully this is something we can quickly fix once I get the source code up in a usable form in the X.org (freedesktop.org) repository.

OK. Cooling off. Bugs are OK. Now if we can just get rid of that 'automatically starting xterm when you click on the X11 icon' bug we'll be in business. :) It's like the menu commands you stick in don't pass the command line arguments. "xterm" is OK, but "xterm - geom..." is not.
