while I think we can all acknowledge and appreciate the benefits we'll see moving forward, ideally we'd have a working bridge to get us to the point where the new code base is stable. as it has been demonstrated today, it's a pretty important piece of code for many, that needs to work.

that bridge, even if it is running X11.app from tiger, is perfectly fine from my standpoint - it just needs to be packaged up nicely. any help you can offer from that perspective would be appreciated!
