confirm it's no longer registered:

	pkgutil --pkgs|grep X11User

assuming it's gone, run the installer again. when it prompts with the error message, command L to open the installer log, drop down, select "show all logs" -- should give you a pointer to the problem. let me know what it is (I'm curious now).
