Hey everyone,

I just caught the X11 list of several emails about Leopard and X11. Can anyone kindly summarize what's going on with X11 and Leopard?

And has anyone gotten from Apple what's up?

This is about the most concise summary you're going to get:

Leopard's X11 is now based on X.org X11R7.2 and has a new X11.app. See:

   X11.app history: http://lists.apple.com/archives/x11-users/2007/Oct/msg00123.html
   Unofficial release notes: http://lists.apple.com/archives/x11-users/2007/Oct/msg00065.html
How to revert to Tiger's X11.app if needed: http://aaroniba.net/articles/x11-leopard.html

And yes, the primary Apple X11 maintainer is on this list, and 2 of the 3 above responses are from him.
