Did you replace /Applications/Utilities/X11.app with the one from Tiger?
this is what I mentioned earlier w/o resolve.
the first icon will bounce for awhile, eventually it will stop. the second
works as expected.
does "launchctl list | grep X11" give any output?
tbaur@clare~: launchctl list | grep X11
- 0 org.x.11
referencing org.x.X11, which isn't 10.4 X11.
