I just made a little test: opened an xterm on each of my 4 Spaces desktops. Then when I go to Desktop 2, 3 or 4 and click in the xterm found there in order to try to get focus, instead of getting focus it switches me back to desktop 1. Every time. Seems pretty unusable to me.
