I have received one other report of incorrect characters on Japanese keyboards -- I will try to find one to test. (If you would like, please submit a bug report at bugreporter.apple.com with any extra info you can provide.)

Yes indeed my keyboard is a japanese keyboard, so if i understand you correctly, the same bug has not been observed in other types of keyboard, is that right?. I will fill a bug report at bugreporter.apple.com hoping that the bug will be tracked back quickly.

It's on the list of things to be done, but I don't yet fully understand the problem, so I can't say how soon I can fix it.

Well i can still live by putting all my X11 windows in one space, it works then.

But for the incorrect characters on my Japanese keyboard, please, please, a fix soon!!
