| take it back, it went back to crashing. it's like it becomes unstable, after I shut down a working X11. Any other ideas?

Do you have a .xinitrc file in your home directory? If you do, could you post its contents?
What did you copy from your PB to your MBP?

I tried downloading the X11 pkg, but when I try to install it it says there is X11 already updated. I deleted the app alone (no libs just the .app) and tried that, and still no install. I extracted the .app from the Archive.pax and dragged it and X11 is still broken and crashes.
