Re: Questions about 2.1.1 --> 2.1.2 and 2.1.3 + lockups

[Q1] I have undergone two installs lately (2.1.2 - when available, then
2.1.3 - more recently), via the pkg available on the project side, and they

2.1.1. Am I missing something here!??

Weird. What does 'ps x | grep X' show?

[Q2} As it looks like the recent install (2.1.3), even if not showing in the
Help --> About as correct version, seem to have addressed two annoying
problems I was having (dual icons + not launching my default app - i.e.
xclipboard = now both working fine), I would ASSUME that I am - in fact -
running the latest build. Having said this, X11 still freezes, once in a
while, and once it does so, even if I kill any process showing up in:
$ps aux |grep -i x11, followed by $kill -9 <what I found X11 related>
or - also - forceably quitting the app via Mac's mechanism (Apple -- > Force
Quit), it looks like any subsequent launches of X.app from Finder -->
Utilities brings back the two icons in addition to not allowing any apps from
the menu to work, anymore. The only solution is to reboot the Mac. Is this
something anybody else has experienced? If not - what exactly should I go
after (kill processes) to avoid - at least - rebooting after an X11 freeze?

I haven't experienced it, but I'm curious what 'ps x | grep X' and 'echo $DISPLAY' in your xterm reveal when this happens.
