Can you guys try this alternative font path and let me know if it
fixes the problem for you:

This corrects the problem for me. How can I set this by default?
I'll make it default for the next release, but for now, I'd recommend
putting that line in /usr/X11/lib/X11/xinit/xinitrc before the 'exec
quartz-wm' line.
