Hm. Should I be rebuilding my (mac)ports tree against 2.1.3, or
something? I'm finding that starting wireshark takes down the
Xserver under 2.1.3, but not under 2.0. Right now, wireshark is
kind of a must for me.
I've been using wireshark today under 2.1.3 with no problem. How does
it crash? Also, macports links against many macports libs rather than
the ones we provide.
I also find I have some improper font rendering in my xterm, though
that could also be due to my ~/.Xresources, which is a bit -er-
crusty, shall we say? :)
how so? what are the problems?
Could it be that I have a bad install? (I'm not sure I do, because
I've re-installed 2.1.3 a few times, and the server still dumps core)
What is the crash? Is it really never happening under 2.0 or have you
just not tried enough to be sure of it?
