Do you have bzip2 installed? If yes, try to uncompress using "bzip2 -d wine-0.9.30.tar.bz2" and after that, extract the tra archive using "tar xvf wine-0.9.30.tar".

BTW: It should also be possible to unpack it just from the finder by double-click on the archive ...

I googled about the Tv ants software and found this link which is a step by step procedure for this software installation (http://www.sammo.org/tvantsonmac/). I followed the procedure exactly as on the web page, but when I started typing the second command on xterm as stated on the webpage , I am getting the following message :

bash-3.2$ cd Desktop
bash-3.2$ tar -jxf wine-0.9.30.tar.bz2
tar (child): wine-0.9.30.tar.bz2: Cannot open: No such file or directory
tar (child): Error is not recoverable: exiting now

tar: Child returned status 2
tar: Error exit delayed from previous errors
So could anyone please let me know how to install this software on my Mac? Thanks a lot for your time and sorry for any inconvenience.
