I hope someone can help me.
I've taken over a Mach-O plugin, which has been working fine up to this
point. I now need to make use of an existing codebase, compiled using
makefiles (I'm making use of XCode's external targets here) into archive
libraries (with a '.a' extension).
I can successfuly make use of these libraries in a standalone executable
application. However, whilst I can successfully link them to my plugin, I
get various memory related crashes upon debug (e.g. when new or malloc are
called).
I don't seem to be able to track this down. I've tried adding various
flags to the makefiles (for position independent code and the like), but
to no avail.
Any help or suggestions would therefore be appreciated!
