Re: Subversion SSH authentication

Ok, this is dumb, but have you tried rebooting? Seriously, I remember a long time ago I had problems getting Xcode working with cvs using public-private keypairs with null passphrases and even after Apple fixed things so that it would work, after installing the fixed version of Xcode, it still didn't work until I rebooted the machine. I recall this happening twice on two different Xcode updates.

No guarantee of course, but it's worth a shot.

Having just upgraded to XCode 2.2 I thought I'd see if I could now get Subversion to work with svn+ssh. No such luck, unfortunately.

What happens is that whenever I try an SCM operation, I get an authentication sheet with Host:, Path: and Account: all blank and a field to enter a passphrase. I've followed all the instructions in the XCode 2 "Configuring your SSH environment" document and svn has always worked fine from the command line with no password required. I don't have a passphrase, but the obvious step of just pressing the authentication button doesn't work. Any ideas? Local repositories work fine, it's just SSH that doesn't work.
