I just wanted to add that if you search for Xcode on http:// www.apple.com/downloads/macosx/apple then you won't find _ANY_ of the Xcode releases. Apple has always required you to have an ADC account to download the developer tools. This does not mean that they are under NDA as anyone can create a free ADC account.
