This is an excellent article for people new to Xcode. I highly recommend you read it, as it provides some foundational information as to how Xcode projects are organized. Understanding these concepts will save a lot of headaches later.

Next, check out the Xcode User Guide. While reading the whole thing is ideal, skimming over it should suffice, as you'll at least know what to look for if you have a problem later.
