Re: Xcode 2.4 download question

I've a question regarding my download of Xcdode 2.4.

After I downloaded Xcode 2.4, the file 'download.exe' (minus the single quotes) began. Is this Xcode but for Intel machines or what? It's a 0.92 GB file.

download.exe? Even if it were an Intel file, there would be no reason for it to end in ".exe" on Mac OS X (".exe" for executable files is a Dos/Windows thing). The Xcode 2.4 installer image is 983 820 084 bytes large. The Disk Utility checksum (CRC32) is $D75B677F.

I'm not sure where this download.exe is coming from, unless Apple's download servers (or some mirror you downloaded from?) are running Windows and the download url ended in "download.exe? What happens if you rename it to "Xcode 2.4.dmg" and double-click it? (after you verified the size and crc)
