adding files to xcode 2.4 project

Hi -

I have a file which was created (in CVS) outside of a project and I'd like to import it into the project.

But, when I do so, XCode keeps the file grayed out indicating it can't be added. When I search the project, the file is nowhere in the project. Any suggestions on how I can get this file into the project?
