Detect Memory leakage in framework.

Working on
Mac OSX 10.4.5 PowerPC
Xcode 2.2

My application is accessing USB bulk device using framework ( i have
sources for both of them) and I need to "detect for the memory leaks"
in the framework.

I am allocating some memory to the structures from the framework. For
each thread opened from the app, the framewrk allocates a memory for
some structures. So i need to detect what happens when the thread gets
closed. Does the memory gets freed itself ???

We can check the memory leaks of the application through "MallocDebug"
tool. But is there any way to check for the memory leakage occuring in
the framework itself ?

Does MallocDebug tool detects the leakages occuring in framework also,
while the application is communicating to the framework ? Is there any
way out to know about the memory leakage in the framework while it is
communicating to the application.

I hope my query is clear. Please comment.

Thanks and Regards,
Rohit Dhamija
