Unsupported major.minor version 49.0

A project that has compiled and run successfully in the past now throws this error:

IONstateAgent has exited with status 0.

The previously complied version from 10 days ago runs fine.  It appears that if a file is modified the project will not run after successfully being compiled.

Here is my Java version
java version "1.5.0_06"
Java(TM) 2 Runtime Environment, Standard Edition (build 1.5.0_06-112)
Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM (build 1.5.0_06-64, mixed mode, sharing)

Xcode version 2.2.1

Also other projects compiled IntelliJ IDEA 5.1.1 run fine.
