Re: Still no way to view CFString in custom data fomatter, huh?

I can see content of CFStringRef without any problem

here is a code

CFStringRef ftpHandler = LSCopyDefaultHandlerForURLScheme(CFSTR("ftp"));
I can see in the debugger window

Variable			Value				Summary
ftpHandler		0xa039b700			com.omnigroup.omniweb5

I can also see that information as a tooltip if I click on the ftpHandler and will wait for 1-2s

I'm kind of disappointed to see that I still cannot view something like the contents of a CFStringRef in the debugger, let alone in a custom data formatter. I'm surprised that something this useful has not yet made it in.

Maybe it requires adding all of core foundation to gdb, but I would think not.

Am I overlooking something simple? The docs say you can't view string types in CDFs.
