Would you mind going to http://bugreport.apple.com and filing a bug
about this, attaching your install.log file?
You can find your install.log by launching Console.app, looking under
"LOG FILES"->"/var/log"->"install.log", control-clicking on
"install.log", and choosing "Reveal in Finder".
