Thanks for the help. You can't drag targets directly across project boundaries. That's why you have to add one project to another before you can start dragging their targets to create dependencies. The only way i've found I can add the static library is to drag it from the Files pane (CodeWarrior-style view) to the target pane, and into the Link Binary build phase. But, it's working now.
