Leopard XCode debugger steps into OS functions

I've started using standard XCode in Leopard (I think it's using stabs as the debugger?).
When I'm debugging, I'm forever going into Operating system routines when I try to step over something that calls the OS.

It seems to particularly like to stop on "dydl_stubs"
It's hard to Step Out most times too, I often jump out way past where I was debugging.
It seems to lose track of where I am in the call-stack.

I most often have to go and set a break-point on the next line I wanted to be at, and let it run until it hits it, in order to get out of the mess.

I'm running on Intel making a Universal Binary.

This is so wierd I'm assuming there must be something easy to do to fix it.

Thanks,

Tor Langballe
