I recently updated to Xcode 3.0. All the text fields in the app
seem to allow entering return keys rather than sending the return
key to the default button. This is different from Xcode 2.x and
most other apps.
This affects the text field in the Open Quckly window, the text
fields in the find windows, in the Find windows etc.
Are others seeing this? Is this on purpose? How do I turn it off?
First try using Xocde > Preferences > Key Bindings to set the key
bindings to the Xcode Defaults, and see if that helps. If your
keybinding remaps the Return key to another meaning, it will affect
all of Xcode, not just text entry.
As far as we know only the Find and Replace text boxes are intended to
accept the Return key as literal text instead of a button push,
anything else is worth reporting at bugreporter.apple.com.
